This area encompasses all aspects of repairing diseased (decayed) and broken teeth. It includes all fillings; composite (white), amalgam (moldable metal), gold, porcelain (white) and sedative (non-permanent).
We are fortunate to have four specialists in this area. One of the specialists is the Director of the Advanced Dentistry Program at Boston University School of Dentistry. He is also the Director of the Department of Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry at Boston University. Two other specialists are senior faculty member in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Department of Advanced Dentistry also at Boston University. One is also the editor of the Journal of Dental Materials.
The fourth specialist is also with Boston University, as a senior staff person at the Prosthetic residency program at the VA in Bedford MA. His expertise covers two specialties in dentistry, being both a prosthodontist and an implant surgeon, a fantastic combination.
Our group of highly skilled dentists can perform and all aspects of fillings, crowns (caps), bridges (both permanent and removable), dentures and partial dentures. Three additional years of specialized training after dental school also includes the most advance training in the field of cosmetic care.
